How to Install JLR SDD 166 Software?
1. Run VCredist all-in-one FIRST before anything.
2. Install base program
JLR v166
3. Run OFFLINE1.exe patch
4. Run JLR SDD, then log in using the
username and password below. (user name: y-cai1, password: apri12012)
5. Exit
SDD.
6. Run OFFLINE2.exe patch
7. Restart PC – run SDD and use as
normal.
Network icon may be red, but downloads still work.- you may have to go to Settings > Network > and enable network connection to get online downloads working.
NOTE: Do not let the program launch into Edge. Only Internet Explorer. If you have issues fixing this, search google for “Disable IEtoEdgeBHO”. You will find the solution which involves registry editing.
Q: SDD can it work offline programming with downloaded calibration files?

No possible to use this with heavy duty. They used to have a VCX for trucks. Now it is discontinued.
The VCX DoIP now only works for cars.
How to Fix VXDIAG VX Manager Internal Error?
Problem:
VXDIAG VCX DoIP VX Manager keeps showing this error: “VX Manager has an internal error and the program has exited”.
Uninstall vx manager and reinstall it again, still the same error.
How to fix it?
Solution:
vxdiagshop.com engineer did a Teamviewer check and found that his computer has been infected by a virus.
Have to change operating system or use another laptop.
VXDIAG Benz 2023.12 Xentry "No Access Authorization Code" Solution
Problem:
When running 2023.12 xentry software for VXDIAG VCX SE Benz scanner, it reported an error ‘No Access Authorization Code’.
How to fix it?
Solution:
1. Run the “FIX” program on the desktop and open Xentry offline (car) software.
2. If not working, disable security boot in BIOS setting same as 2024 xentry versions. Then try again.
