VXDIAG Tech2win Not Allow to Run Solution

Problem:

The VXDIAG VCX NANO GM Tech2win software is not allowing me to run… here was my original message as well:
My GM module in VX Manager shows installed, but the “Run” button is disabled. Tech2Win gives “license expired” error.
My firmware is v1.9.4.2 and GM license shows Available, but clearly Tech2Win bridge is not activated.
How to fix it?

VXDIAG Tech2win Not Allow to Run 2

Solution:

1. Better install Tech2win on Win7 32bit system. Don’t install T2W on Home edition system.

2. Update firmware first, then update license.

3. Don’t start Tech2win from vx manager. Run software from patch.

How to Activate Benz Temperature Mode with DTS Monaco?

In this guide, we will walk you through the process of activating the temperature display mode on a Mercedes using the DTS Monaco software and the VXDiag VCX SE Benz diagnostic tool

running Xentry 2025.06. This tutorial will also cover how to switch temperature units from Fahrenheit to Celsius and customize other display settings.

Tools Required

  1. VXDiag VCX SE Benz or VCX Plus Benz

  2. DTS Monaco Software – Used for coding and diagnostics.

  3. Battery Charger (35A recommended) – Essential for long coding sessions to prevent battery drain.

The Issue: Temperature Display
On many Mercedes models, the temperature of the coolant isn’t displayed numerically (e.g., 90°C, 130°C) in the service or progressive menus. Additionally, the default temperature unit may be set to Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. Today, we’ll show you how to enable numerical temperature display and switch Fahrenheit to Celsius using the VCX SE Benz scanner and Monaco software. We’ll also adjust other settings, such as fuel consumption units (liters per 100 km, gallons, etc.) and pressure units (bar).

Step-by-Step Guide to Coding
Here’s how to activate the temperature display and customize units:
1.Connect the Scanner
    • Use the new VXDiag VCX SE scanner, connecting it to your vehicle via Wi-Fi.
    • Ensure the ignition is set to the second position.
    • Plug in your battery charger to maintain power.

2.Launch DTS Monaco Software
    • Open Monaco and select your project for the Mercedes model (in this case, a 213 model).
    • If you encounter an error, double-check that the scanner is properly connected. The software should indicate that the VCX is “available.”

    • Adjust the following:
      • Temperature Units: Change from Fahrenheit to Celsius.
      • Cold Scale Menu: Enable numerical temperature display for the instrument cluster.
      • Other Units: Set fuel consumption (liters per 100 km), distance (kilometers or miles), and pressure (bar) as desired.
    • Once all settings are adjusted, click “Coding” to apply the changes.

4. Verify the Changes
    • Go to the “Diagnosis” section in DTS Monaco and connect to the IC (Instrument Cluster) for the 213 model.
    • Perform an “ECU Reset” to ensure the new settings take effect.

Activate Benz Temperature Mode with DTS Monaco 10

    • Check the service menu, AMG menu, or sport menu on the vehicle’s display. You should now see numerical temperature readings (e.g., 50°C, 90°C, 130°C) and Celsius instead of Fahrenheit.

Results
After coding, the temperature is now displayed numerically in the service, AMG, and sport menus. The units have successfully switched to Celsius, and other settings like fuel consumption and pressure are updated as configured. The VXDiag VCX SE Benz performed flawlessly during this process, proving to be a reliable tool for advanced diagnostics and coding.

VXDIAG VCX SE and VCX VX800 Benz Comparison

What’s the difference between VXDIAG VCX SE Benz and VXDIAG VCX VX800 Mercedes diagnostic scanner?

First of all, they are not a new version and an old version—they are simply products from different distributors.

  • VCX VX800 is an e-commerce product sold online.

  • VCX SE is the global version. It is available both offline and online dealers.

The hardware and main board are exactly the samethe only differences are the device labels and packaging.

Their functionality is identical, and both support adding authorization software for additional vehicle models.

So it is a rumor if someone says the newer VCX VX800 offers improved functionality.

VXDIAG ODIS 24.3.2 Asks for GRP Login Info?

Problem:

One of our customers has managed to set up ODIS Service 24.3.2 software with VXDIAG VCX SE 6154 interface. Software reads VIN, but when processing the diagnostic, it asks to input user name and password. Where to get the login info?

VXDIAG ODIS 24.3.2 Asks for GRP Login Info 1

VXDIAG ODIS 24.3.2 Asks for GRP Login Info 2

Here is the clue:

Group Retail Portal (GRP) is a centralized access point and authentication process for ODIS Service. It is replacing the current ODIS logon process since version 23.

We don’t provide the GRP login user name and password.

Better use VXDIAG ODIS software. It is cracked without login info. The latest version goes to 24.1.1.
