VXDIAG VCX SE BMW Cannot Read Rolls Royce Modules?

Problem:

It is a Rolls Royce Phantom 2014. VXDIAG VCX SE BMW and ISTA+ software will only read a few modules. It cannot access most modules. Any idea?

Solution:

1. Make sure you select brand as Rolls-Royce

2. Make sure your ISTA+ (especially 3rd party software) has the database for Rolls Royce. Otherwise, it will not communicate properly with the vehicle.

3. Change other version ISTA+ or use our hard drive software.

VXDIAG VCX NANO and Mahindra i-Smart Software

VXDIAG VCX NANO was tested working with Indican Mahindra i-Smart software by one of the VXDIAG's users.

NOTE: We don't provide Mahindra i-Smart software. Only shows the possibility of VXDIAG scanners.  You are at your risk.

The vcx nano he tested is a vcx nano 6154 odis for VAG. Other vcx nano/VCX SE should work as well.

Connect vcx nano with laptop and vehicle.

VXDIAG ODIS-E 17 Install Error with Software Components?

Problem:

I have downloaded the ODIS-E 17.01 for VXDIAG VCX SE 6154 scanner,
I am trying to install it on a notebook with Windows 11 Pro N Version 21H2.
unfortunately without success.
I already have ODIS-S 23.01 on the same notebook.
The program installed without any problems.
I have read that it is possible to run ODIS-S and ODIS-E together on one notebook.
I took a screenshot of the error message.

“An error with one of the software components was detected. The current installation will be removed. ”

Here is the possible solution.

This error appears on some Windows 11 systems, it is probably about some Updates.

We recommend Windows 10.

For newer versions will be better x64. x86 is so much better since there is no any lack of the functionality for any kind of driver of your laptop.

This problem happens when you have installation remnants. Delete all ODIS folders and files in program data and program files . Look in the registry if there are remains and delete them.

You cannot have odis-e and odis-s installed on the same partition. Create another partition with other windows. 

We have some customer installed both odis-s v23 and odis-e v17 on Win10, make sure you install them on a clean system, better on Win10.

1. Both Topdon and VXDIAG use 3rd party driver.
2. Both Topdon and VXDIAG VCX SE are compatible with BMW, Benz, Honda, Toyota, JLR, Nissan, VAG, GM, Volvo, Subaru and Porsche (piwis3) software. Rlink Lite currently does not support Ford, Mazda, Renault, Peugeot, Citroen and Porsche PIWIS2 software, VXDIAG VCX SE does. Topdon supports CAN FD protocols, VXDIAG you need VCX FD series. Topdon Rlink supports Chrysler, Wuling, Roewe MG software, vxdiag does not.
3. Both devices support remote diagnosis.
4. Both devices can be used as J2534 passthru interface for OEM programming.
5. VXDIAG allows to add more car brand license to the unit.
6. VXDIAG also supports WLAN and DoNET connection.

VXDIAG VCX SE BMW ISTA 4.46 Cannot Connect Vehicle?

Problem:

I got the vxdiag vcx se BMW firmware and license updated, but still cannot communicate with vehicle. Software version ISTA+ 4.46.21. Any solution?

Possible solutions from vxdiagshop.com:

ISTA 4.46 requires latest BMW driver.

VXDIAG Update BMW Driver for ISTA-D 4.46 and Adds Analysis Diagnostic Mode

Update BMW ICOM driver in VX Manager.

Then update firmware and license.

If still not communicate, reinstalling BMW driver will fix the problem.
