Lenovo Laptop RAM Chip Broken Solution
I got the vxdiag vcx se with 2TB Hard drive a week ago. 2TB hard drive works fine on my second-hand Lenovo laptop off ebay.
2tb hdd refused to work yesterday. I contact vxdiagshop.com where i bought the device. They have checked the vcx se device, vx manager and hard drive for me via Teamviewer.
All without problem. They said the problem might be the laptop which reminds me it is old enough.
Finally i got it working again.
I have done this. The RAM chip does not function. They are corroded and no longer good
I replaced the chips with new chips. It boots normally now I will continue testing.

VXDIAG VCX SE vs. VCX C6 vs. MB SD C4
Question:
I cannot decide which device to buy for a long time. then I came across the VXDiag VCX SE device. It says it can do doip, and I won’t have any problems while flashing. Other devices I can think of are VXDiag VCX C6 and SD Connect C4 Plus (Clone). Which would you prefer? ? Does it work with Vediamo?

DTS Monaco: 100% Yes. Xentry hard drive/solid drive comes with DTS software.

Vediamo: No
Only 2 of our customers passed the test. Most failed to work Vediamo with vcx se. So better don’t use the vcx se with Vediamo.
Vcx se or vcx c6:

VXDIAG VCX SE Benz vs MB SD Connect C4
Both supports WiFi wireless connection
Both supports DoIP Benz
MB SD C4 supports both DTS Monaco and Vediamo, vcx se does not support Vediamo
vcx se allows firmware update online, C4 cannot.
vcx se has vx manager to check device connection features, C4 does not.
vcx se can be enabled with DoNET remote diagnosis, C4 cannot.
The biggest advantage of vcx se is that you can add other brand licenses to the device, c4 is for Mercedes only.
vcx se is cheaper than SD C4
How to Solve VXDIAG VCX SE Only Red Indicator ?
Problem:
My vxdiag vcx se pro works fine, but it suddenly won’t communicate with my car, vx manager does not detect the device either.
Changed another laptop, only red indicator turns on, it does not read WiFi, the cable is good, can you reset the device for me?

Reset vcx se pro firmware, if still fails, you may need send back device for repair.
?What is the Function of VXDIAG VCX SE Type C Cable
Dear Vxdiag VCX SE user: do you notice there are two new cables available: one is Type-C cable, another is OBD extension cable. Generally speaking, they are used for working together with the VXDIAG VCX SE series scanners to perform DoNET remote diagnosis.

These 2 adapters are not necessity and not included in the package in default. Type C converter is used when your computer does not have a USB port, but with LAN Port. The Type-C converter can be used to connect to the PC with USB cable provided with the VCX SE device.
The 1.2m OBD extension cable is used to connect VCX SE interface to the car by OBD2 to achieve an extended effect.
VXDIAG DoNET Definition
What is “DoNET” ? We have many customers asking that. Here’s the explanation from vxdiagshop.com.
“DoNET” is a connection method for the VXDIAG scanners and software laptop.
Similar as USB or WiFi connection.
USB and WiFi connection has distance limitation. The biggest advantage of the DoNET connection is that it beyond distance limitations, even if your device and software are not in the same place.
For example, if your car breaks down on the road or had a customer whose car is broken down, you happen to carry the vxdiag device (a vcx se is pretty small can be put into pocket), turn on Hotspot and pair to the device via DoNET. Then have your friend run the VX Manager on computer, enter vxdiag device serial number, complete DoNET setting. Software is ready to use. You now enjoy remote diagnosis.

1.You must have vxdiag device and software to connect via DoNET (check what device can be enabled with DoNET in text below)
2. It is not VXDIAG engineer to control your/our software or PC, but you control it via mobile phone.
3. It is a rumor that DoNET will able online coding/programming. Online programming requires online account which we doesn’t provide with.
