VXDIAG Benz Xentry Wizard Interrupted Solution
If somebody has troubles while installing Xentry OpenShell software for VXDIAG VCX SE Benz/Benz C6 DoIP,
Error:
"InstallShield wizard completed
The wizard was interrupted before XENTRY
Diagnostics OpelShell could be fully installed.
Your system has not been
changed. To complete the installation at a different time, you must run the
setup again."
Aborting of installation.
The solution is to change language settings in Windows.
To change language settings in Windows, go to Start > Settings > Time & Language > Language & region; from there, you can select your preferred language from the "Preferred languages" list, or add a new language by clicking "Add a language" and choosing the desired option from the list.
The same issue can happens with VXDIAG VCX SE 6154 ODIS Software for Volkswagen. Setup is aborting an uninstall everything.
Solution is Uninstall VW Triber in VX Manager, restart PC and install ODIS.
Everything works fine. With preinstalled VW Triber ODIS allows not the installation.
VXDIAG Benz Xentry 2024.03 Authentication Failed Fault C003 Solution
Problem:
One of our customers had a problem accessing Mercedes S class W223 using VXDIAG VCX SE Benz and 2024.03 Xentry software. VX Manager detects VCI. Zenzefi license was activated as well.
Xentry reported an error “Authentication Has Failed”
Solution:
There is a bug with the Zenzefi certificate of the 2024.03 software version.
Need to replace 2 files to the 2024.03 Xentry to use Zenzefi license.

Copy and paste XD_MB file to ProgramData/Mercedes-Benz/config folder
2nd file:
Copy and paste ActiveSetup folder to ProgramFiles (x86)/Mercedes-Benz folder
After replacing these files, Zenzefi license can be loaded to 2024.03 Xentry successfully.
If software stuck on this page after replacing files. Try logging in Xentry with user name: 1 and password: 1.

Possible to Change VIN with VXDIAG Benz Xentry?
Problem:
I have a problem with the navigation system in my Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake X117. I recently replaced the faulty head unit and then restored the original settings via VXDIAG VCX SE Benz DTS Monaco software. However, the navigation still does not work.
A message appears on the screen stating that the Garmin MAP PILOT SD card has been used on another vehicle. My vehicle’s VIN is displayed on the screen, but for some reason the system does not recognize it. Is there any way to change the VIN in the head unit with Xentry or DTS monaco to match my car’s VIN?
Solution:
It is impossible to change VIN using Vediamo, DTS Monaco, and Xentry. It is a security issue. And the dealer does not work with other units, only new ones. These programs can change the configuration, and not all. SLA and lane control are welcome, but the steering wheel heating is no longer there. You need to erase the VIN in the heating unit. In fact, break it. This can be done with VVDI, or by directly reading and correcting EEPRPOM.
You need a different level of equipment, for example VVDI. You need to reset EEPRPOM, and the car code will be automatic. Option 2 – unsolder EEPRPOM, and reset with a programmer such as EZP2019

How to Solve VXDIAG VCX FD GDS2 No Valid Lease?
Problem:
Got the GDS2 2024.05.08 software downloaded and installed for VXDIAG VCX FD GM scanner, when open software, it said no valid lease. How to fix it?
Solution:
“No valid lease” error usually caused by missing patch.
Vxdiagshop.com engineer did a Teamviewer and found his GDS2 patch was eaten by anti-virus program.
Disable anti-virus program, reinstall GDS2 software, it will be fine.

Programs can put the unit into operation, remove and record adaptations, read and explain errors. But, when putting into operation the unit must be Virgin or Renew.
