How to Choose VAG Project on ODIS-E?

Where I can find which ODIS-E project is for my car?   Do I need to have project for ecu flashing?  What info is ODX containing?

Here's the clue.

There is a helo file in ODIS-E what project with what car goes.

ODX are the pojrect files you need to inport them in odis if they are in a zip file.

Method 2: How to use ODIS choose vehicle model if you can not find model from above list.

Running ODIS, then click "Start Diagnostic"–"Diagnostic"

After diagnosis click "Report"—>"Save"–>"Long record", then click "OK"

Save file

Open this file you saved via IE browser, check the name of ASAM project, AU48X is the data what we need.

How to Install VXDIAG VCX SE 6154 ODIS 9.1.0?

VXDIAG tutorial: how to install vxdiag vcx se 6154 odis 9.1.0 + Postsetup 90100.207.230 + vx manager + 6154 driver on windows 10 operating system.

Procedure:

Step 1: Install ODIS Setup

Open ODIS 9.1.0 folder
Run OffboardDiagSetup_VWMCD_9_1_0 setup
Select setup language
Install ODIS setup assisant

Target paltofrm to Standard PC/notebook
Select dagnostoc interace as VAS 6154

Add license.dat license from C:/Users/Administrator/Desktop/ODIS9.1.0/license.dat folder

Tick Create a folder in the start menu and create shortcuts for all users
Installing setup until finished

Copy and paste OffboardDiagLauncher file from ODIS91.0/Replace license/ODIS910 folder
and replace the file in C:/Program Files/Offboard_Diagnostic_Information_System_Service folder

Copy and paste plugins file in ODIS91.0/Replace license/ODIS910/plugins
and replace the file in
C:/Program Files/Offboard_Diagnostic_Information_System_Service/pluginsfolder

Step 2: Install PostSetup
Run Offboard Diagnostic program on desktop

Select local directory
Upload ODIS-Service_update_9_1_0 EU folder

Press Next
Select PostSetup language

Download files and restart computer now

Step 3: Install VX Manager and 6154 Driver

Download VX Manager driver 1.8.9 on vxdiagshop.com download area or vxdiag.net
Install vx manager and select VAG ODIS 6154 program to install

connect vxdiag vcx se 6154 interface with laptop via USB or WiFi (first installation recommend connecting via USB)
check device status, if the firmware is not the lateast version, click “Upgrade” to update to the latest version
Update license.
Make sure ODIS 6154 driver is installed

Step 4: Run ODIS 9.1.0 Software

Open Offboard Diagnostic program on desktop
software is ready to use

Solve VXDIAG ODIS 9.1.0 license invalid

Problem:

I failed to load ODIS 9.1.0 engineering v14 software for the vxdiag vcx se 6154. It says license invalid.

‘Error reading the license file: NoteAfter Wed
The License is invalid’

VXDIAGSHOP Solution:

License is expired.

Change the computer date/time to the date before the current date, i.e year 2021.

How to change language in VXDIAG VCX SE ODIS 9.1.0?

Problem:

Just got the VXDIAG VCX SE 6154 ODIS 9.1.0 downloaded but failed to change language. Error DS9006E MirrorServer2

Infrastructure. Online connection. MirrorServer2: Administration rights are required for the update. The installation language cannot be deselected.

Solution:

The ODIS 9.1.0 mega download link comes with Chinese language pack only. Users cannot change the language.

If need to change software to other language, choose 9.1.0 Engineering V14.0.0 Software HDD 500G

VXDIAG VAG Unable to Determine Hardware ID Solution

Problem:

I had a problem running VW ODIS 9.1.0 software from vxdiag vcx se full 2TB HDD.

It says unable to determine the hardware id for the computer when I start ODIS from vx manager.

Solution:

Don’t start ODIS software from vx manager.

Start ODIS (VW 9.01) from the desktop shortcut.
