Problem:
Tried to diagnose a Nissan Juke F15 2014 with VXDIAG VCX SE Nissan. After selecting vehicle information in V240 Consult3 plus software, press confirm the program stuck and will not proceed.
Any clue?
Solution:
Choose your vehicle region correctly during the first installation.
For example, if this car is manufactured in UK, don’t select Japan country/region during the first installation, otherwise, software will stuck when scanning all systems.
In this case, choose area as Europe. Then restart program.
It is a 2004 Mercedes E320. Been battling with the annoying SOS inactive code for months. Every 5 mins or so randomly the audio cuts out while driving and the white TeleAid SOS warning error pops up on the instrument cluster.
Solution:
This is how it’s done.
For Pre-2006 car you will 100% need MB special diagnostic system (SD Connect C6, VCI C6 or VXDIAG VCX SE Benz DoIP) with Xentry/DAS software. Neither an OBD2 scanner nor Xentry Passthry worked. Needed an actual MB Star multiplexer.
IN DAS::
1. Control unit groups -> Info and comms->
Audio,video,nav ->control unit adaptations->read coding and change if
necessary->specified config of MOST-> telematics-> set to NOT
PRESENT-> carry out coding.
2.Control unit groups -> body->CGW->control unit adaptation->read coding and change if necessary->telecommunications-> telematics-> set to NOT PRESENT->carry out coding.
3. (Optional) remove the physical control module from the car. You’ll have to put in a fiber optic loop where it was. They’re like $10 on Amazon.
Edit: Keep the TELEAID set to “PRESENT” in the Airbag Module otherwise you will get an SRS code. The SRS needs to be able to output data to the module if it is still in the car.

How to Unlock VAG SFD with ODIS Service Manually?
In a diagnostic start-up via “Self-diagnosis”, after selecting a control unit (i.e C002 Software Cluster unit) you can establish whether the control unit is SFD-protected using the “Display measured values” function

If an activation token has not yet been generated, answer “No” to the following question:

Copy the SFD calculation to clipboard.
Paste this code from clipboard on ODIS software.
Press Activate Control Unit to unlock SFD security gateway.
VXDIAG VCX SE, Scanmatik 2 Pro and VAS 5054a all tested working with the Mercedes Benz Xentry Passthru version.

Does VXDIAG VCX SE BMW interface work with BMW ISTA+ 4.48.20 software?
Our engineer tested it and verified VCX SE works fine with ISTA 4.48 software.
Keep firmware and license up to date.
This version does not need the latest driver support.
Make sure you have BMW ICOM driver installed.
If failed to update firmware or license, uninstall BMW driver and reinstall again.
If test BMW on bench, make sure you have a battery maintainer.
